Platamon   is a town and sea-side resort in south Pieria, Central Macedonia, Greece. It is situated on the Aegean Sea coast, 25 km southeast of Mount Olympus. Adjacent beach towns are Neoi Poroi to the southeast and Neos Panteleimonas to the northwest. Platamon is regarded as one of the most significant tourist destinations in Northern Greece. Our villa is private and very quiet! But, keep in mind that in just 1 Km there is Platamon centre, so night life will be there for you. Platamon is full of clubs and night is very very long.

DION
The Archaeological Park of Dion is the most important archaeological site at Mount Olympus in Greece, located in Dion.  The park displays a lot of the history of Pieria from the Hellenistic and Roman periods. Its only 30 km from Platamon - 10min away by car.

MEDIEVAL FORTRESS

PLATAMON CASTLE
The Platamon Castle is a Crusader castle (built between 1204 and 1222) in northern Greece and is located southeast of Mount Olympus, in a strategic position which controls the exit of the Tempe valley, through which passes the main road connecting Macedonia with Thessaly and southern Greece. The tower (donjon), which overlooks the highway, is an imposing medieval fortress.
